Police investigation second instance of pride decoration damage

Four individuals who were in the area are being sought by investigators

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have discovered a second mischief along Main Street, Palmerston. On June 2, 2024, approximately 2:45 p.m., Pride decorations that wrapped light posts were cut.

Investigators are looking to identify four individuals who were seen on Main Street on June 2, 2024, at approximately 2:50 p.m.

  1. Male, white, short, average build, between 15 and 20 years old, short dark hair, wearing a blue plaid shirt and glasses.
  2. Male, white, tall, thin, between 15 and 20 years old, short dark hair, wearing a dark blue plaid shirt.
  3. Male, white, average height, average build, between 15 and 20 years old, short dark hair, wearing a two-tone (beige front, white back) trucker hat, and black T shirt.
  4. Male, white, tall, average build, between 15 and 20 years old, short brown hair, wearing a tri-tone (dark blue/light blue/white) polo shirt.

OPP are currently investigating a mischief that occurred sometime between June 9, 2024, and June 10, 2024, on Main Street West, Palmerston. Unknown persons spray painted the rainbow fabric that decorated the light posts along the roadway. Investigators are looking to identify those responsible.
