On September 3, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m. a member of Wellington County OPP stopped the driver of a blue sedan on Wellington Road 124, Guelph - Eramosa. As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old from Kitchener, was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and Drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
- Dangerous Operation contrary to the Criminal Code
- Instrument for use in Copying Credit Cards - Possession contrary to the Criminal Code
- Possess - Credit Card Data contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, at a later date.
