Driver facing several charges after being pulled over early Tuesday

The charges include impaired driving, dangerous driving and possession of an instrument used to copy credit cards

On September 3, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m. a member of Wellington County OPP stopped the driver of a blue sedan on Wellington Road 124, Guelph - Eramosa. As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old from Kitchener, was charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and Drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Dangerous Operation contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Instrument for use in Copying Credit Cards - Possession contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Possess - Credit Card Data contrary to the Criminal Code

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, at a later date.
