Elora resident charged with impaired driving

On September 12, 2024, at approximately 8:15 p.m. a member of Wellington County OPP stopped the driver of a grey pick up truck on Wellington Road 19, Fergus. As a result of the investigation, a 55-year-old from Elora, was charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired - Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) contrary to the Criminal Code

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, at a later date.
