PUSLINCH TWP — On March 3, 2025, a member of the Wellington County OPP was monitoring traffic on Queen Street in Puslinch Township. At approximately 2:30 a.m., the driver of a grey sedan was observed travelling more than 50km/h over the posted 50km/hr speed limit in a Community Safety Zone. As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old from Hamilton, was charged with:
- Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
- Speeding 50+ contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The defendant is scheduled to appear in the provincial offences court - Guelph, at a later date
*Anyone charged with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt receives a 14-day impoundment and a 30-day driver's licence suspension as per statute.
