The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that nominations for the 2025 Awards of Excellence, celebrating outstanding businesses and individuals in the community for their achievements in 2024, are now open.
The Awards of Excellence event recognizes excellence in nine different categories, including Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Employer of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Other nomination categories include Community Social Responsibility; Cultural, Arts, Tourism Impact Award; Customer Service Excellence Award; and Environmental Excellence Award.
“These prestigious accolades not only acknowledge success but also highlight the nominees’ commitment to enhancing the overall economic and social landscape of our vibrant community!” said CW Chamber of Commerce, CEO Brock Aldersley.
Aldersley continued, “Nominations are now open to the public, and the Chamber of Commerce invites the community to participate in identifying and honouring those businesses, organizations and individuals that have made a significant impact. Whether it's an exemplary business, an outstanding entrepreneur, or a dedicated community leader, we encourage everyone to take this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the excellence that defines our community.”
The Awards of Excellence ceremony to celebrate the winners and showcase the collective success of the community, will be held on May 27, 2025, at the GrandWay Events Centre.
"These awards are a Centre Wellington staple, celebrating the remarkable talent and dedication within our community,” stated Aldersley. He finished, “We are excited to shine a spotlight on those who strive to contribute to our community’s continued growth and prosperity, at our Silver Anniversary event."
The Chamber of Commerce is also seeking community members to volunteer on the Adjudication committee.
