The report on the proposed garbage tanks between a major shop and the tourist office has me puzzled.
If the tanks are built, would shop owners across our downtown area have to cart their refuse to those tanks? If not, who would pick up the refuse for depositing in the tanks?
If a company is to do the latter, wouldn't it be best if the material went directly into a truck, as at present, for carting out of the village? There would be no need for the proposed eyesores. Instead, make the site a pleasant garden, with seats for visitors!
