Wellington County OPP say this morning's crash in Mapleton Township resulted in two individuals being taken to hospital in Hamilton due to the serious nature of their injuries.
The collision on Wellington Rd 17, between Wellington Rd 8- and Third-Line West, Alma, happened shortly before 6:30 a.m.
"Both drivers are reported to have serious injuries, where they were taken to local hospital, and then both taken to Hamilton General Hospital due to the level of injuries," said Const. Matthew Burton.
The cause of the collision is still unknown.
The road remains closed as the investigation continues.
