Two people are facing impaired driving charges in separate incidents in Wellington County on Saturday, February 1.
The first driver was pulled over at around 3:45 a.m. on Highway 6 in Puslinch Township.
A 43-year-old from Burlington was charged with operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The second driver was stopped by police at around 7 p.m. on Highway 6 within Guelph-Eramosa Township.
A 34-year-old from Fergus was charged with:
- Dangerous Operation
- Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
In addition, both drivers lost their licence for 90 days and the vehicles they were driving were impounded for a week.
