Traffic stop leads to impaired driving arrest

On Nov. 7, 2024 at approximately 8:15 p.m. an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment initiated a traffic stop on Albert Street, Mount Forest.

As a result of the investigation, a 58-year-old of Mount Forest, was charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on Nov. 22, 2024.
