About Us
Founded in 1933, the Groves Hospital Volunteer Association (GHVA) has dedicated over 90 years to supporting Groves Hospital and enhancing community health. For more than 70 years, we have proudly operated the New to You thrift store, which has become a vital source of funding, raising over $4.3 million for the hospital, including a current $1 million pledge we are actively working to fulfill. Our mission is made possible by the passionate volunteers who devote their time and talents to various initiatives, including the Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP), the information desk, and the Groves Hospital Gift Shop. Additionally, our dedicated team sorts donations and manages the New to You thrift store, ensuring that every contribution makes a difference. We invite you to join us in our mission to support our community's health and well-being.
