On Nov. 23, at approximately 7:45 p.m., members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment attended the scene of a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Forfar Street, Fergus.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old of Fergus, was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired - alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
- Operation While Impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on Dec. 6.
On Sunday, at approximately 2:30 a.m. an officer from the OPP Wellington County Detachment initiated a traffic stop on Elora Street South, Harriston.
As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old of Hanover, was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired - alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
- Operation While Impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on Dec. 3.
On Sunday, at approximately 5 a.m., an officer from the OPP Wellington County Detachment initiated a traffic stop on Wellington Road 17, Mapleton.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old of Hanover, was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired - alcohol and drugs contrary to the Criminal Code
- Operation While Impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on Dec. 3.
