UPDATE: Minto highway reopens following fatal collision

Highway 9 has reopened following a fatal crash Monday morning south of Clifford.

Ontario Provincial Police say the three-vehicle collision involving two SUVs and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 52-year-old Etobicoke resident.

MINTO – Wellington OPP are on the scene of a fatal collision in Minto.

Police report one person has died as a result of a three-vehicle collision on Highway 9, just south of Clifford. 

A press release explained emergency crews responded around 7:25 a.m. Monday to the collision involving two SUVs and a tractor trailer.

Highway 9 has been closed between 15th Line and 11th Line between Harriston and Clifford.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call 1-888-310-1122.
