Driver charged with impaired after vehicle gets stuck in snowbank

TOWN OF ERIN - On Feb. 16, 2025 at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County Detachment were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle stuck in a snowbank on Thompson Crescent in the Town of Erin.

As a result of the investigation, a 49-year-old of Erin was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired - blood concentration 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph, on Feb. 25, 2025.
