COW: Suspects sought following two break and enters in one night

Incidents occurred overnight on Nov. 2

At approximately 1:35 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 2 2024, a break and enter occurred at a gas station located on Garafraxa Street East in Fergus. Followed by a second break and enter that occurred around 2:09 a.m. at a gas station located on Smith Street in Arthur.

The two incidents are linked. In the first, suspects gained entry by smashing the side door. Stolen were several packs of cigarettes and both cash registers. In the second incident, entry was gained by smashing the double pane glass door. Stolen were two cash registers. The suspect vehicle is described as a black sedan, possibly a Jetta or a similar make. The suspects are described as two white males, both wearing black face masks. One male was wearing a teal-coloured hoodie, black pants, white shoes, and gloves. The second was wearing a white/black “Ski-do” jacket/wind breaker, grey hoodie, tan pants, black shoes, and gloves.
