ERIN – Charges have been laid against a Brampton man in connection with a fatal collision near Erin last June.
Wellington County OPP report that a warrant has been issued for Mandeep Singh Thind, 26, for careless driving - cause death and two counts of careless driving - cause bodily harm, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
On June 6 at approximately 6:00 a.m., police received a report of a collision involving an SUV and sedan at the intersection of Wellington Road 125 and Halton-Erin Townline. The driver of the SUV, a 60-year-old of Fergus, was transported to a local hospital where sadly, they were pronounced deceased.
Two other occupants of the SUV were transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries. The driver of the sedan was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
