It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Elizabeth Rapp at Guelph General Hospital on February 27th, in her 77th year.

Loving partner and soulmate for over 50 wonderful years to Charlotte Logan. She will be sorely missed by her daughter Janet Logan and granddaughter Emily Logan (Cameron), her brother Jim (Adrienne) and brother-in-law Don Mayrand (Vickey), nephew Andrew Rapp and nieces Kelly Mayrand (Chris), Jenna Mayrand (Craig), Jennifer Rapp (Chris), Catherine Rapp and several grand nieces and nephews.

Jane was born in Toronto on May 7th, 1948 to Doctor Clare Rapp and Mildred (Spiers). She attended Branksome Hall, attained her RN at Wellesley School of Nursing and did her post grad in Neurology at the MNI (McGill). She was a tireless advocate for the advancement of Palliative Care. In retirement, if there was someone she could help in the community, Jane was always there to lend a hand.

The things that brought her the most joy were times spent in nature, being with family, friends and especially with her granddaughter Emily.

A pianist and chorister in her early years, music was her passion and both the Choir of St. John's Elora and the Elora Singers held a very special place in her heart.

Jane's funeral service will be at St. John's Anglican Church (36 Henderson Street, Elora) on Saturday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m., with a celebration of life and light lunch to follow in the Aboyne Room at the Wellington County Museum (0536 Wellington Road 18, Fergus).

Please consider donations in her memory to St. John's Elora or to the Elora Singers.

Arrangements entrusted to Graham A Giddy Funeral Home
