On the ice: Fergus Whalers on a roll

Weekly wrap-up on the wins and losses from the Elora Rocks, Fergus Whalers, Mount Forest Patriots, Erin Outlaws and Minto 81's

ELORA ROCKS 

The Rocks have kept their winning streak going with two wins over the weekend. 

The team won at home Friday evening 7-3 against the Tilbury Bluebirds and then 6-3 in Stratford against the Fighting Irish Saturday. 

Elora is up against the Dunnville Aeros twice this coming weekend, first at home Friday evening at 8:30 p.m. and away on Saturday. 

FERGUS WHALERS

The Whalers were also tallying marks in the winning column with three victories over the weekend. 

Fergus shut out the Mitchell Hawks on Friday 3-0 at home, beat the Mount Forest Patriots in overtime 4-3 on the road Saturday and then won handily against the Wingham Ironmen 6-1 at another Sunday afternoon match-up. 

The team plays away games only this weekend, first in Walkerton Friday against the Capitals and then in Kincardine Saturday against the Bulldogs.

MOUNT FOREST PATRIOTS

Mount Forest had a win and a loss over the past weekend. 

The Patriots beat the Ironmen 6-2 at home on Friday before falling short against the Whalers on Saturday 4-3 in overtime. 

The team is on away ice Friday for another match with the Ironmen and then will take on the Hawks at home on Saturday.
