Wellington County Museum hosting pajama parties this summer

The events will be held on a pair of nights and feature numerous exhibits

Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) will host two Pajama Parties this summer, inviting attendees of all ages to explore the building after hours and experience a night at the museum.

On July 19 and Aug. 9 from 6–9 p.m., the WCMA doors will be open for an evening of fun, crafts, games, scavenger hunting, popcorn, and more.

Exhibits will also be open to enjoy, including:

  • Not Just Dirt: Digging into the Science of Soil
  • Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - In Memoriam
  • If These Walls Could Speak (History of the Poor House)
  • The Jewel: Classic Movie Theatre
  • Far from Home: A Soldier's Life at the Front, 1914-1918
  • 1920s Kitchen
  • First Story: The Neutrals in Wellington County
  • Log Cabin

“We’re so excited to invite the public to explore our historic building after hours,” said Emily Peters, Museum Programming Supervisor.

Attendees are encouraged to wear pajamas or comfy clothing and admission is by donation.
