Waterloo man charged in with April sexual assault at business

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid charges in an alleged sexual assault case that occurred at a local business. Jeffery L. M. Cazabon, 47 years old of Waterloo, was charged with sexual assault contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on Aug. 6, 2024.

On April 30, 2024, OPP began an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred at a retail store on St David Street, Fergus. It was reported that at approximately 5:45 p.m., a woman was sexual assaulted by an unknown male.
