A 39-year-old Mount Forest woman is accused of assault and assault with a weapon, say Ontario Provincial Police.
Wellington OPP say their investigation began on Sunday in Mount Forest, but released no further information about the nature of the incident or the weapon used.
The accused, whose name was not released, is to appear in court in Guelph on an unspecified date.
