Update 2:30 p.m. – OPP media officer Matthew Burton said via email a tractor trailer carrying live chickens fell into a ditch on this stretch of road. The chickens are being transferred to another tractor trailer. No injuries were reported.

BELWOOD – OPP have closed a major county road in Belwood.
A road closure notice from the County of Wellington said Wellington Road 26 between Wellington Road 18 and Wellington Road 19 as of 1 p.m. Thursday in Centre Wellington.
No reason for the closure has been provided.
