Summer is just around the corner and Erin’s recreation team is gearing up for an action-packed season of fun and adventure.

The Town of Erin is launching new specialty summer camp programs this year, encompassing a wide variety of activities and themes.

“This year's Summer Camp program builds on the success of previous years, offering exciting new opportunities for campers to explore adventures, check out new activities, and discover several sports,” said Jessica Stovin, Manager of Recreation and Culture.

“We want to help make camp memories that will last a lifetime.”

New this year is the opportunity to choose from a variety of camp options, with programs scheduled for both Erin and Hillsburgh aimed at helping campers discover new sports, find hidden talents, and embrace their creativity.

There will also be an Arts and Crafts Camp, Hockey Activity Camp, Multi-Sport Camp and Performing Arts Camp.

A Tennis Camp will run in partnership with the Erin Tennis Club from July 28 to Aug. 1, where participants will complete tennis drills and play matches while building core skills of the game.

Erin camp is for children ages four to 12, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. Extended care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for an additional fee.
