The Town of Minto is pleased to announce that the Bright Lights and Festive Nights project was selected for the My Main Street Community Activator initiative and has received support to install additional holiday-themed lights in the Palmerston Lions Park and promote the community as a holiday destination.

Palmerston’s prettiest park will receive a glow-up this holiday season with six additional holiday-themed lights. These will enhance the displays already installed in the park by the Palmerston Lions Club, creating a magical light trail called “Bright Lights and Festive Nights.” Residents and visitors alike will be encouraged to tour the light trail and shop local businesses' special promotions for a special way to illuminate their cold, wintery nights!

Through the Bright Lights and Festive Nights campaign, businesses will be offering special promotions to draw visitors to the community this holiday season. While the holidays are already a busy time in Minto, this support will allow the community to promote its incredible features to a larger audience who may not have considered Minto as a stop on their holiday bucket list.

All are invited to join the official grand opening of the light trail at Light up the Park on Nov. 15, 2024 at 6 p.m. More details can be found online. Follow @TownofMinto and @AllAboardPalmerston on social media and click here for more details.
