CENTRE WELLINGTON – Does Centre Wellington provide the right level of service? Not enough? Too much?

That’s what the township wants to know through its latest survey, which aims to get public input for its new levels of service plan.

A press release said this will build on the work done through its asset management plan which outlines both the current services the township has and proposed future changes which may include enhancing existing services, reducing service levels or introducing new ones.

It also details how these changes will be funded.

Factors that play a role in determining what services the township provides and at what level include: legislative requirements, community expectations, financial constraints, available resources and strategic planning goals.

“With the township’s asset management plan due for an update in 2025, we are seeking public input that will help support the development of a levels of service framework for the next 10 years including assessing performance, risks, costs, funding and identifying any gaps,” the release said.

More information and the survey can be found here.
