Arthur water tower to be out of service for maintenance

ARTHUR – The Township of Wellington North is advising Arthur residents may experience some issues with their water as one of its two water towers is out of service for maintenance. 

A notice from the township said Arthur's spheroid water tower will be out of service starting Sunday for approximately one week to allow for complete maintenance.

"Customers may experience discoloured water and/or pressure fluctuations for short periods of time during the maintenance," a notice said. 

The notice also asked residents to continue to follow regular outdoor water usage restrictions on outdoor lawn, garden, tree, shrub or plant watering. 

Homes with even house numbers can do the above mentioned activities on even calendar days and odd house numbers can on odd calendar days but both can only do so between 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
