WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Brampton resident as a result of a motor vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer dragging a motor vehicle underneath it.
On March 5, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m. members of the Wellington County OPP were stationary at the intersection of Belsyde Ave and St David Street South conducting an unrelated investigation, when suddenly a tractor-trailer was observed dragging a vehicle underneath it as it was in a turning movement.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old of Brampton is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Unsafe move - lane or shoulder
There were no reported injuries as a result of this collision.
