In the early morning hours of Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, an abandoned vehicle was found on its roof along Jones Baseline, outside of Guelph in the Township of Guelph-Eramosa.
The vehicle is described as a white SUV and had been stolen between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. the day before, from an address in Guelph.
Found inside the SUV was a large quantity of Bell telephone cable.
A male suspect had driven the SUV to a local gas station and was captured on video surveillance.
