A three-vehicle collision closed Wellington Road 8 at Wellington Road 10 in Mapleton Township.
On September 9, 2024, just before 10:00 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Mapleton Fire Department, and Wellington County Paramedic Services responded to a report of a multi-vehicle collision involving three vehicles on Wellington Road 8 at the intersection of Wellington Road 10 in Mapleton Township.
Sections of Wellington Road 8 and Wellington Road 10 were closed for the investigation but have since been reopened.
One of the involved vehicles was a Wellington County Paramedic response vehicle.
Two vehicle occupants were treated at a local hospital for minor injuries. One driver has been charged with an offence found in the Highway Traffic Act.
