On March 2 at approximately 3:15 a.m., Wellington County OPP responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on George St., Arthur. It was reported that a white SUV had been parked and running for two hours. As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old from Arthur has been charged with Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine, contrary to the Controlled drugs and Substances Act. The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph on April 26.

On March 2 at approximately 7 p.m., Wellington County OPP responded to a fail to remain collision on Wellington Road 16 at Sideroad 20, West Garafraxa. It was reported that a grey sedan was struck by a white pickup truck and that fled the collision. As a result of the investigation, an 18-year-old driver from Fergus was charged with Fail to Report Accident, Failed to Yield to Traffic on Through Highway, G1 Licence Holder - Unaccompanied by Qualified Driver, and G1 Licence Holder - Carry Front-Seat Passenger, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.  

On March 3, a member of the Wellington County OPP was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 7, Mapleton. At approximately 7 a.m., the driver of a black sedan was observed travelling well above the posted 80km/hr speed limit. As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old driver from Cambridge was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The defendant is scheduled to appear in provincial offences court Guelph on June 5.

On March 3, a member of the Wellington County OPP was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 19, Centre Wellington. At approximately 200 p.m., the officer stopped the driver of a black sedan. As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old from Dunnville was charged with Operation While Impaired - B.A.C. 80 plus and Operation While Prohibited, contrary to the Criminal Code. Further, the driver was also charged with Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, on April 23.

On March 3, a member of the Wellington County OPP was monitoring traffic on the Hanlon Expressway, Guelph. At approximately 7:30 p.m., the driver of a white sedan was observed travelling well above the posted 70km/hr speed limit. As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old driver from Brampton was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed and Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The defendant is scheduled to appear in provincial offences court Guelph on June 5.

On March 4 at approximately 6:30 a.m., Wellington County OPP responded to a vehicle collision on Thompson Crescent, Erin. It was reported that a white minivan and a black pickup truck had collided. As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old driver from Erin was charged with two counts of Driving While under Suspension and Fail to Report Accident, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. Further, the driver was also charged with No Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. The defendant is scheduled to appear in provincial offence court - Guelph, on June 19.

On March 4, a member of the Wellington County OPP was monitoring traffic on Highway 23, Minto. At approximately 11:15 a.m., the driver of a black SUV was observed travelling well above the posted 80km/hr speed limit. As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old driver from Kitchener was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The defendant is scheduled to appear in provincial offences court - Guelph on June 5.

On March 5, a member of the Wellington County OPP was morning monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 11, Mapleton. At approximately 7:45 a.m., the driver of a blue sport utility vehicle was stopped. As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old driver from Drayton was charged with Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The defendant is scheduled to appear in provincial offences court - Guelph on June 5.
