Missing woman last seen in the Trafalgar Road area in Erin (UPDATE: found)

Update: Oct. 22, 4:25 p.m.

On October 21, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into a missing female who was last seen in the area of Trafalgar Road in Erin. 

It was determined that the missing female had gone for a walk in the woods and ended up lost. With assistance from West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine Unit, and OPP Aviation Services, the female was located and rescued after an extensive search. She was located in good health and was subsequently returned home.

The OPP would like to thank everyone who assisted and helped with this search. We are grateful for the support of the community and the dedicated efforts of our officers.

Police report that the missing woman was located safe.

A missing woman was last seen near in the Trafalgar Road area in Erin yesterday at around 3:30 p.m.

(The woman) is 26-years-old, five-foot and two inches tall, has shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and white sweatpants.

She may attempt to travel to Burlington or Milton, said in a photo posted with information by Wellington OPP on X. If there is any information Wellington OPP asks to call 1-888-310-1122.
