On Sept. 7, 2023, at approximately 6:15 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving a single motor vehicle on Wellington Road 123, near Palmerston. Initial reports indicated that a red minivan had struck a tree and lone occupant had sustained serious injuries.
Emergency services responded and the driver was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Wellington Road 123 between Wellington Road 109 and Perth Line 92 is expected to remain closed through the morning while investigators determine the cause of the collision.
