Fergus man arrested three times for Listowel incidents

NORTH PERTH – A Fergus man is facing a list of charges after being arrested for three separate incidents in North Perth. 

A 31-year-old man from Fergus is facing charges of being unlawfully in a dwelling, break and enter, uttering threats, mischief, resisting and assaulting a peace officer over three incidents at a home and businesses in Listowel over the course of a few days.

Just before 1 a.m. on June 16, Perth OPP reported investigating after a person unknown to the homeowner entered a residence on Wallace Avenue North in Listowel and the man was arrested on scene.

On June 18 before 8 a.m., a citizen reported an alarm going off at a Inkerman Street West business in Listowel. The man was again found inside and arrested on scene. 

A day later, Perth OPP were notified that an individual had threatened a local business and caused damage to a sign. 

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
