Fergus driver clocked going 96 km/h in a 50 km/h zone in a mini

A Fergus woman was taken off the road after she was caught Wednesday driving nearly double the speed limit in Guelph.

At 8:45 a.m. Guelph police conducting speed enforcement on Woodlawn Road East at Country Club Drive when he clocked a Mini travelling 96 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

A 29-year-old Fergus woman is charged with speeding and stunt driving. Her licence was suspended for 30 days and her vehicle was impounded for 14 days. A stunt driving conviction will attract a minimum licence suspension of one year, a minimum fine of $2,000 and six demerit points.
