OPP media relations officer Sarah McClinchey said in an email the collision involved two vehicles around 8:08 a.m. Wednesday morning. Three people were sent to hospital with injuries with their status unknown at this time. The road will remain closed until further notice.

In a post on X, OPP said Wellington Road 32 between Paisley Road and Speedvale Avenue West, just west of Guelph, following a collision,
Details of the collision were not provided in the post and the scene was not visible from either end of the road closure.
