The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charges Arthur resident with two Criminal Code offences in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On Jan. 21, 2025, at approximately 12:01 a.m., members of the Wellington County OPP entered into an intimate partner violence investigation within Wellington North Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old of Arthur is charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
- Uttering Threats - Cause death or bodily harm - spousal (two counts)
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
