ELORA ROCKS
The Rocks got a point in both the win and loss column this past weekend.
Elora first lost on the road 6-5 against the Orangeville Blitz Friday before taking a 6-3 win over the Bluebirds at the Tilbury Arena on Saturday.
The team remains second in the WOSHL standings with 13 wins and seven losses.
The Rocks will face the Blitz at home again on Friday.
FERGUS WHALERS
It was a similar story for the Whalers who also won and lost their two games this weekend.
The team lost in overtime Saturday 5-4 against the Mitchell Hawks but then went on to win in a high scoring match against the Goderich Flyers on Sunday, winning 10-6.
Fergus is third in the PJHL’s North Pollock division with 20 wins, five losses, three overtime losses and one shootout loss.
The Whalers are on the ice three times this upcoming week, first hosting Kincardine on Wednesday, go to Mount Forest on Saturday and face Walkerton at home on Sunday.
MOUNT FOREST PATRIOTS
Mount Forest kept the winning streak going with two wins.
First the Patriots won 4-2 over the Hanover Barons and then shutout Mitchell 2-0 on Sunday.
The team is first in the PJHL’s North Pollock division with 26 wins, five losses and two overtime losses.
Mount Forest will be on the road to Kincardine on Friday and face Fergus at home on Saturday.
ERIN OUTLAWS
Erin’s win drought finally came to an end after seven straight losses.
The Outlaws won 4-3 over the Georgian Bay Apple Kings on Saturday but lost again at home on Sunday 7-6 against the Durham Thundercats.
The team is ninth in the OEHL standings with five wins and 11 losses.
Erin will be up against Georgian Bay again on Saturday and the Milverton Four Wheel Drives on Sunday, both at home.
MINTO 81’s
Minto won its lone game this past weekend.
The team came out on top over the Creemore Coyotes 3-2 at home on Saturday.
Minto is third in the OEHL standings with 10 wins and four losses.
The 81’s will face the Tavistock Royals Sunday afternoon at home.
