MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Patriots’ hockey season is over as the team fell short of winning the PJHL’s North Pollock division playoffs.
On Monday evening, the Patriot’s lost 2-1 against the Hanover Barons in game seven on Barons’ home ice.
The teams were tied at one goal a piece going into the third period but Hanover’s Drayton Howell would score the only goal of the third period which ended up as the game winner.
The Barons will now move on to face other PJHL division winners.
