Light up the Park
Lions Heritage Park on Main Street East, Palmerston; 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Palmerston’s park gets a Christmas glow up. Event features food, drink, performers, lighting the park, fireworks, holiday photos and more. Donations to the food bank are recommended for attendees.
Erin’s Window Wonderland
Various locations on Main Street, Erin; 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tree lighting starts at McMillan Park at 6 p.m. followed by the window reveal at 6:30 p.m. Event also includes Santa visits, food and drink, photo ops, reindeer visits, special retail promotions and more.
Elora Rocks

Elora Farmers’ Market Winter

Emmanuel Community Festival
Emmanuel Christian High School at 680 Tower St. S., Fergus; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Various vendors, food and children’s activities. Includes a Lego contest and baby crawling race.
Holiday Handmade Market
Meadowville Garden Centre at 7767 Wellington Rd. 124, Guelph; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
An indoor holiday market in the greenhouse. Activities for the garden centres open house will also be happening. Admission is free and the market is pet friendly.
Community Craft Show
PMD Arena at 68 Main St. W., Drayton; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lots of homemade items for Christmas gifts or other occasions. The event is raising funds for minor sports and local groups.
Holiday Collective Market
Central Church at 7674 Colborne St., Elora; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Shop a selection of 15 or more handmade and thrift vendors for the holidays. Entry is by donation to the Fergus and Elora Little Free Pantries.
Hillsburgh Tree Lighting
Hillsburgh Parkette on Trafalgar Road, Hillsburgh; 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Event begins with a tree lighting, followed by a BBQ, Santa visit and free skating at the community centre.
