Residents may encounter a minor detour if travelling in downtown Fergus today.
According to a Township of Centre Wellington's Facebook post, Forfar Street East is closed between St. David Street North and James Street due to a watermain break.
Access is only open for emergency vehicles.
A township spokesperson said the road is expected to be closed until 4 p.m. but it may be opened earlier.
