Salem Frights returns for another Halloween season

Free haunted house event runs on Oct. 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30

SALEM – A free haunted house experience for those who love a scare is back and bigger for another season.

Salem Frights returns for a second season Friday night for five scary evenings at 470 Wellington Rd 7 in Salem. The event is a free haunted house tour that runs from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30 this month.

Darryl Magierowski, Salem Frights’ creator and operator, said in an email this season’s haunted house is four times the size it was last year. The haunted house is not recommended for young children.

Each day will feature a market area with food, drinks and vendors changing depending on the day.

Visitors are asked to park at the Esso Gas Station or Soulwork Studio lots and to walk along lawns for safety.

Walkthroughs are free but donations are accepted.
