ARISS – A developer has applied for a rezoning with the Township of Guelph/Eramosa that would allow for 16 houses and a new park to be built in Ariss.

Will-O Homes has applied for rezoning and a plan of subdivision for the vacant property at 5782 Sixth Line E. in the hamlet area of Ariss.

The 19-acre site borders an existing subdivision and is between Sixth Line East and the Kissing Bridge Trail. The site is proposed to have a newly built road with access to Sixth Line East and extend to Arris Glen Drive to the south.

A planning justification report concluded the applications are compatible with the surrounding area and conform to relevant planning policies.

The Township of Guelph/Eramosa has a public meeting date scheduled for Dec. 9, 2024.
