Glynnis Belec, an author and former book publisher, had a colourful idea for her little library outside her Drayton home.
Now the red British telephone booth-turned-little free library is making literacy a landmark in Mapleton.
Belec, who had two other little libraries on her lawn in the past, got her husband to make the bright red telephone booth library last spring.
"I'm British...and I have a passion for red so I thought a phone booth would be interesting," said Belec.
