FERGUS – A Fergus fantasy festival is returning with an extended holiday twist.
The Enchanted Forest of Fergus, which had its first run earlier this year, is holding a “Festive Forest” version of the festival starting Thursday and running each night until Sunday.
This event stays with the fairy tale theme of the previous version but features things like a meet and greet with magic Santa, fire pit stations and hot beverages alongside the usual illuminated art, vendor and food market and strolling entertainment.
Attendees are encouraged to dress to theme but still warmly.
This event takes place in the forest behind the Centre Wellington Sportsplex. Parking is at the front of the building with overflow parking at the CWDHS that has a shuttle bus running every 15 minutes.
Bar and vendors are cash only due to the location.
