EloraFergusToday and its community partners raised $5,000 in the second annual Teddy Bear Caper For Groves Memorial Community Hospital.

That brings the two-year total of the fundraiser to just under $10,000.

The funds go toward vital equipment at GMCH, to equip our physicians and staff to continue providing excellent rural health care to patients.

The campaign runs over the holiday season and calls on the local business community to purchase stuffed animals to be given out to children at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital over the holidays.

In addition to donating the stuffed animals, 100 per cent of all funds raised during this initiative go to the hospital.

GuelphToday has led the Teddy Bear Caper program in the Guelph area for the last five years. We were thrilled to introduce this wonderful initiative to the Elora-Fergus community last year and continue the tradition this year.

EloraFergusToday is proud to be a part of this worthwhile cause in an effort to give back to our community and make Christmas a little brighter for children and families in hospital over the holiday season.
