NEWS RELEASE
TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON
****************************
CENTRE WELLINGTON – We are bringing our Connect CW concept to you, on one night, in one location, for all residents to have an opportunity to meet with the staff and project team members on our major township initiatives. And to make the evening even more exciting, Mayor Linton will host a Town Hall at 7 p.m.
“This will be our fifth Key Projects Open House, and I am extremely excited for staff to showcase all of our major ongoing and upcoming projects to residents, ensuring they are informed and have a say,” said Mayor Kelly Linton. “Staff and council have missed the ability to connect with our residents in-person, to say we are looking forward to sharing information and engaging with our community is an understatement.”
The open house style will allow residents to learn and inquire about key projects and gather information on what matters the most to them. The Key Projects meeting will take place as a drop-in format from 6-8 p.m. with Mayor Linton’s Town Hall presentation beginning at 7 p.m.
Key projects showcased:
• 2022 Municipal Elections
• Municipal By-law Compliance
• CW Fire Rescue Services
• Trees on Public Property By-law
• Elora Community Centre Renovation
• New Centre Wellington Business Park
• Operations Centre
• East Mill Reconstruction
• Wellington County Emergency Preparedness
• Park and Trails Updates
