What:
Additional local amounts up to 5 cm is possible.
Poor visibility in local blowing snow.
When:
Continuing this morning.
Additional information:
Lake effect flurries off Lake Huron are expected to continue this morning before tapering off. Gusty winds could lead to local blowing snow and drifting snow, significantly reducing visibility and making driving conditions hazardous.
Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.

Snow squall warning replaces snow squall watch for:

What:
Total snowfall accumulations of 30 to 60 cm. The highest amounts are possible if a snow squall remains stationary over a given location.
Near zero visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.
When:
Beginning this morning and continuing through Tuesday.
Additional information:
Organized snow squalls are expected to start this morning and continue into Tuesday for some areas. Gusty winds could also lead to local blowing snow with significantly reduced visibilities.
Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Travel is expected to be extremely hazardous due to reduced visibility. Road closures are possible.
Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
