PUSLINCH – James Seeley will lead a different-looking council in Puslinch over the next four years.

Seeley, who took down incumbent Dennis Lever by 35 votes in 2018, was acclaimed as mayor.

Meantime, after spending about two decades as a town councillor, Matthew Bulmer will move over to the county councillor position, as he was the lone candidate running in Ward 7 for Wellington County.

He was the top vote getter at the town council level four years ago.

Jessica Goyda and John Sepulis, who finished second and third in 2018, were voted back into office as two of four councillors.

Sara Bailey, who was appointed to council in 2019 following the resignation of Ken Roth, took top spot.

Russel Hurst, the executive director of the Ontario Agri Business Association, claimed the fourth and final seat on council.

  • Sara Bailey: 905
  • Jessica Goyda: 875
  • John Sepulis: 783
  • Russel Hurst: 755
  • Robert Cassolato: 729
  • Stephanie McCrone: 660
