On February 8, 2025, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a Cambridge resident in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.
On February 8, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP were dispatched to a report of assault in a vehicle on Brock Road South in Puslinch Township.
As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old of the City of Cambridge is charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with Assault.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim(s).
