It was a soft rain at the break of dawn when Brad made a graceful exit from this life to the next, at Hospice Wellington. He was surrounded by the love of his wife Elaine, children; Derek (Morgan), Brady (Lindsay), sister Paula (Dave),brother Jeff (Sonia) predeceased to Perry (Shelly). Cherished Papa to Lincoln and Haven. Brother in law to Doug ( Bridget) John ( Rhonda) Russel (Janice) Brenda (Bryce) Barry (Tammy) Anne ( Larry) predeceased by Dave (Cheryl) Marilyn (Mark). Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Married in September of 1982 Brad and Elaine had two boys Derek and Brady, life from that time on was full of sporting events, it is at this time where Brad made many new friendships that have continued throughout his lifetime, Brad enjoyed his family dinners often saying (we are so lucky hun), he enjoyed watching his boys and all that they have accomplished, he cherished every moment he spent with his grand children.

A devoted Chicago Blackhawks fan, who passionately supported the Elora Mohawks. A proud supporter of both his sons and a dedicated supporter of his grandson Lincoln, as well as the biggest fan of granddaughter Haven. His love and care for his family and their pursuits will forever be cherished and unmatched.

His final days were spent at Hospice Wellington. There are no words to describe the exemplary care that hospice provided both to Brad and his entire family.

Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Thursday October the 3rd, from 3-5pm and 6-8pm. The Funeral mass to be held at St. Mary’s church, 267 Geddes Street, Elora, On., on Friday October 4, 2024 at 11:00am.
