ELORA ROCKS
The Rocks closed out the season in a big way.
Elora won twice over the weekend, first at home on Friday 6-2 over the Stratford Fighting Irish and then 8-4 in Dunville against the Aeros on Saturday.
The team is second in the WOSHL standings with 15 wins and eight losses.
There are no games scheduled as of yet as the WOSHL moves into the playoffs.
FERGUS WHALERS
It was a mixed bag for Fergus at home this weekend.
The Whalers started with a 3-1 loss to Hanover on Friday but went on to win 6-5 in overtime Sunday afternoon over the Kincardine Bulldogs.
The team is third in the PJHL’s North Pollock division with 23 wins, seven losses, one overtime loss and one shootout loss.
A busy week for Fergus is ahead as the team faces the Wingham Ironmen on Tuesday at home, the Walkerton Capitals on the road Friday and then back at home Sunday for a match against the Goderich Flyers.
MOUNT FOREST PATRIOTS
Mount Forest put some points in the win column.
The team won twice, first on Friday at home 4-2 over Goderich and then 5-1 in Wingham on Saturday.
The Patriots are second in the PJHL’s North Pollock division with 28 wins, six losses and three overtime losses.
Mount Forest will hit the road to face Hanover on Friday and then host the Mitchell Hawks on Saturday.
ERIN OUTLAWS
Erin came out on top against Minto with a 4-2 win in Palmerston on Saturday.
The Outlaws are eighth in the OEHL standings with seven wins and 12 losses.
The team will face-off against Minto again at home on Sunday.
MINTO 81’s
Minto followed up the loss to Erin with a 6-5 win over the Milverton Four Wheel Drives on Sunday.
The team is third in the OEHL standings with 13 wins and five losses.
Minto will be on the road to Creemore to face the Coyotes on Saturday and then a rematch with Erin on Sunday.
